Just spent the day at Fireball doing some very bad Nam (bad as in kit, it was actually quite good fun). I will be sorting my kit out tomorrow so excitement quota is starting to rise.
OK getting excited now to about 8
My level is at around 7 at the moment, went to sof today as needed to run my car and picked up some last bits of kit.

"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."
OK, have sorted all my kit out, so up to a 4-5 now....I still have a week of work to get out of the way first.
I'm actually a bit nervous about this one so I'm at 5 right now.
Don't be nervous Martin, You'll be sat around a fire in the German camp, in no time at all.

I'm at 9 now, as all my kit is sat waiting by the door in my spare room ready to go.
It would be a 10, but as it stands, I am not in posession of the weapon I am using, so can't check everything is in order.
i've gone down to a 5....fooked my shoulder (hoping i just slept funny on it but its been four days now) Just hope its ok for the game buts its put a cloud over my training and put serious doubt in my mind over carrying my kit.
will get the wife to massage it again later and see if that helps (crosses fingers)

Dang. If you've not actually done anything strenuous, it's hopefully not serious. I am pretty good at massage myself, so if you need it on Saturday morning, I can assist. (No extras!)
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
* Pushes first to the queue for massage *
Get lost, you dirty Jerry swine!
(I said no extras, Chomley!)

I bet CW has the oil and Jenny wig packed already.
I'm stuck at about a 5. Still waiting for my SoF order to arrive so I can't finish sorting my kit out yet. Also I don't know yet if I will be able to drive down Friday night or have to leave Saturday morning.

Thanks for that, comrade.

You can treat a shoulder pretty easily if you have a shower or a shower attachment in the bath. Alternate between hot and cold - as extreme as you can bear. One minute each for about 10 minutes. Your skin should look lobster pink by the end of it. That's the blood which you've just brought to the area and is now fast-forwarding the healing process. Ice packs and hot water bottles do the same thing. Cheap, home brand Ibuprofen from a supermarket is also good as it acts as an anti-inflammatory.
Disclaimer: I'm not a qualified doctor but I've watched a lot of ER on telly and if you look at the kids that work in hospitals these days, how hard can it be? I mean really?
